08/10/06 - The next tune
from the demo is up. I'll
post a detailed
explanation for the
inspiration and thought
processes behind the
multitude of parts as
soon as I can.
06/18/06 - The Network Pacific Records "Contemporary Jazz Sampler Vol. 1" is out
now. I'm very proud to be included on this compilation; there are some very talented
musicians from all over the world! You can purchase the CD at
www.networkpacificrecords.com/currentprojects.html or you can purchase the
CD through me by dropping me an E-mail.
06/02/06 - I'll be adding some new lessons in the next few weeks. These will focus on
concepts that haven't been beaten to death on thousands of other lessons pages (like
3 and 5 string sweep arpeggios that seem to be the coolest thing to impress people on
youtube and myspace). Most will focus on some of the more "out there" compositional
techniques that I use in my own music, so they'll probably be of no use to anybody. I'll
be posting them as I complete parts of them, so if only part of it is posted, rest assured
that the rest is coming. Also, feel free to send me any suggestions.
03/11/06 - The Third song from the demo is complete. This one's extremely out there
and requires an open mind to listen to; you can check it out in the sounds section or on
my myspace page.
02/20/06 - So, I finally got a myspace page. It really is a great resource for musicians
(as well as a means through which MTV generation individuals can perpetuate
erroneous thought). Anyway, off my soapbox I go. You can check it out HERE.
02/14/06 - The next tune from the demo is in now in the sounds section. It's a pretty
far out tune conceptually and musically; constantly shifting meters, tempo and keys.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
02/07/06 - So, some things will be changing around the site in the months to come. I'm
starting to record my first demo and hope to be finished by late May/earlyJune. The
first tune off the demo ("Aquatic Labyrinth") will be appearing on Network Pacific
Records- "Contemporary Jazz Sampler Volume One". I'll let you know when it comes
out; you'll be able to order copies through me. For now, you can hear the song in the
"Sounds" section. I'm going to try to finally update the "Lessons" section as soon as I
get the chance, as it has remained stagnant for quite a while now. As usual, I'm still
teaching, so if you need a guitar teacher and are located in or around the Bay Area,
drop me a line. And, as always, feedback is always welcome and appreciated. I guess
that's about it.

06/26/08 - An update!
Look out for the Network
Pacific Records "Metal
Sampler" coming soon; it
includes "Perpetual
Self-Replication". I've
been writing and
recording a lot of
material, so stay tuned
for some new tracks in
the near future. Also, I'll
be posting some new
lessons soon, so send
me any suggestions for
lesson topics.
07/28/07 - A new tune is up in the sounds section. This one has a little different
flavor from the other ones. As always, feedback of any kind is always appreciated.
Also, some new lessons are in the works.
